During our visit ( May 3, 2019) there were police officers in the kalanggaman Island. Not sure if there are actually stationed there or they were stationed there because they were a lot of tourists since it’s summer.

The Island is pretty safe for tourists however, follow the swimming protocols for your own safety m. Your boatman or tour guide should instruct you as soon as you arrive in kalanggaman.

There’s also a medic station in case of untoward incidents. JUST A REMINDER :

Do NOT swim in the sandbar area because of

the dangerous rip currents.

Keep in mind that all boats leave the island before sunset, and won’t return until the next day. If your staying for the night, make sure you’ve made your pick up times clearly to the boatman.

One of my favorite sunset photos. I’m a huge fan of beautiful sunsets and sunrise pictures. There’s something about the world being bathed in that red and yellowish to orange light that makes everything look extra magical.

Even more interesting to me are sunset and sunrise shots taken from the air itself. To have a photo capture what that setting sun looks like from up in the clouds provides an entirely different perspectives on both the event and the world as whole.

This is my friend, Kim Paquera.

Recently I’ve come to realize that I collect sunset photos. Whether it’s walking to our car at the end of the day or strolling the sand of an exotic beach, without even noticing it. I’ve managed to use my Phone to take these photos.

Collecting sunset photos is an amazing way to boost happiness. Every time I see a beautiful sunset, I say thanks. Thanks for the pinks clouds, thanks for the crack sky, thanks to the colors. I definitely believe those studies about long lasting satisfaction.

Its so amazing that sunset are powerful enough to take our breath away and stop us in our tracks. Also it is so fascinating to see how beautiful Mother Nature is.

I still love things that you don’t even need to pay for. Going to the beach and being around of your friends and having a good time means so much more than going out and spending hundreds of money.

At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour. We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun.

People are just as wonderful as sunsets. When I see a sunset, I find myself saying soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watched in awe as it unfolds.

These are some of my photos taken in the island.

A place that I enjoy going is to the beach. It is seen as a place of relaxation because it is normally quiet and peaceful. To look around you and see the beauty of Mother Nature at it’s finest. The majority of people of people you ask will say that it is one of their favorite vacation destination. Not only for the beauty and relaxation but for the sheer entertainment. That is the reasons I enjoy it as much as I do.

I go to the beach to get away from all troubles that are bothering me. To feel the grainy sand all under my toes. To sit there under the sun feeling the warmth of it beating down on my skin. To know that If you get too hot that you only have to walk about ten feet down until you get into the brisk of cool ocean, and feel instant relief from the blistering sun. Also to lay on a float in the ocean and just feel the ocean as you are part of it. Not only to feel but to hear the waves is the ultimate relaxation.

So if you feel helpless and that the world is becoming a huge routine, just go for an occasional walk on the Kalanggaman Island and it will definitely create wonders on the way think and see the world. It’s like a mystic force that touches your soul and even recharges your energy. Beaches are also perfect spots for creative like musicians, writers and artists to keep the ideas flowing.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
